NØVENT FIREPLACE range from Multibraai are the first South African designed and manufactured non-vented fireplace system. 70 - 99 % of heat is retained on these units, compared to 33 % with a vented fireplace, due to the fact that the units do not need a chimney, which means that virtually no heat can escape. In addition, the running cost per hour of the NØVENT is a third compared to other gas vented fireplaces and half compared to wood vented units.

With these Novent Fireplaces not only are the noxious gases 92% below the legal limit required by SABS and LPGSA, they also have a double pilot flame and an oxygen depletion device, which means that should the oxygen in the room drop below 83% the gas supply will automatically be shut off.
